Chill-Out Concert
Since 2005, the World Harmonica Festival has ended on Sunday afternoon with a chill-out concert featuring festival co-director Steve Baker, in ever-changing line-ups.
At this year's anniversary World Harmonica Festival, he will perform with his band the LiveWires, reuniting with guitarist Jan Mohr and drummer Henri Jerratsch alongside long standing bass player Jeff Walker, to recreate the band with which he released his album ‘The Great Divide’ in spring 2020.
In contrast to the mainly acoustic line-up of the LiveWires in recent years, this line-up is more rock oriented. Steve will be performing material from all three of his solo albums, integrating his unmistakable harmonica style into his thoughtful songwriting, which mixes elements from blues, folk, funk and rock’n’roll to create an exciting and highly individual fusion.
This concert is a real highlight which will bring the 10th World Harmonica Festival 2025 to a fitting conclusion.
